FUNDRAISING EVENTS FOR 2011 - 2012

Decatur High School chorus students may earn money toward the Orlando trip or to pay their chorus fee by participating in various fundraisers. If you are using fundraising to pay for chorus fees, that should be stated in writing to Dr. Davis ASAP. This year's fundraisers include:

• Pansy Sale (completed)
• Candy Sale (completed)
• Rada Knife Sale (orders due Oct 28)
• Scrip Fundraising (see below)

RADA KNIFE/UTENSIL SALE - October

Many of the items available in the RADA catalog will make great Christmas gifts and will be delivered in time for the holidays!  Share the catalog with your friends, neighbors & relatives.

RADA Sale Details:

• Sale began October 13 and all orders are due October 28
• Merchandise will be available by Thanksgiving holidays.
• Be sure students name is on both sides of the form.
• Add $0.50 to each order for a shipping and handling fee.
• Please send only one check made out to Decatur High School for the entire order.
• You do not have to collect sales tax.
• 40% of your sales will be applied to your chorus account!

Help raise money for the Chorus by purchasing gift cards to businesses where you regularly spend money. This is an exciting new fundraiser for DHS Chorus with many advantages, the first of which is that it involves no selling and you do not have to spend outside of your regular household budget.

Here's how it works:

• Set up your account at www.shopwithscrip.com
• The school code is: ADE433F23LL85
• Be sure to list Carl Davis as the teacher and your child as the student
• You will also need to enroll with Presto Pay. You will have to enter your checking  account routing number and account number. Two small deposits (approx. .06 - .17 cents) will be made in your account within 2 - 3 days. You will need to log into your scrip account and enter those two deposited amounts to confirm you entered the correct account number. Then Scrip emails you a 4 digit code. FORWARD this email with the code to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it so she can then activate your account and reply to you that Presto Pay is activated.
• Important! Any orders that are received but are not paid for with Presto Pay will be deleted.
• Buy gift cards to stores where you regularly shop.
• A percentage of your purchase will be credited to your account with DHS chorus.
• Orders will be taken weekly and cards can be picked up each Thursday.

Have your relatives sign up for an account - a place exists in the account sign up for them to indicate Dr. Davis' name and the student's name in which they want their profits to go.
